Licences and Insurances
The following licences & insurances are held by Landscapability. We will endeavour to keep this page up to date each year as we renew our policies and licences.
-
Letter of Eligibility (Home Owners Warranty Insurance)–
it is a legal requirement for all projects in NSW over $20,000 to have Home Owner’s Warranty Insurance. This insurance cover’s the Home Owner in the event that Landscapability cannot cover warranty up to 7 years after the completion of works. This usually costs around $300 on top of your landscaping costs. As a free service Landscapability will apply for this on your behalf once you accept our quote and invoice you for the amount of the premium at the same time as the deposit for your landscaping works. -
Letter of Eligibility – Builders Warranty Insurance (Vic)–
this is the Victorian equivalent to the NSW Home Owner’s Warranty Insurance (same applies as above) except in Victoria the cost of the cover is just over $1000 and applies to all projects over $16,000. The exact price can be quoted if necessary, and it is advisable to consider this cost when obtaining a quote in Victoria. Further information can be found on the Building Commission of Victoria’s website. - Letter of Eligibility (Home Owners Warranty Insurance)
